SPE provides an inviting atmosphere and our goal is that every child, parent, and staff member feel like they belong at SPE.  We want everyone to feel like SPE is their home away from home.  We are committed to preparing your child for a successful educational career beyond the doors of SPE.

Fifth Grade End of School Year Events

5^th Grade Field Trip to Paul Kinder Middle School – May 13

• During the day on Tuesday, May 13, our fifth graders will visit Paul Kinder Middle School for lunch and a presentation to learn about the school. Permission slips will come home later in April. 

5^th Grade Field Trip to GAGE – May 19 

• PTA has paid admission for all fifth graders to attend the 5^th Grade Field Trip to Great American Gymnastics Express on Monday, May 19^th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Parent volunteers are needed for this event; stay tuned for more information from the 5^th grade PTA parent reps.  Permission slips will come home later in April. 

5^th Grade Recognition Ceremony – May 22

• Fifth graders and their families are invited to the 5^th Grade Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, at PKMS big gymnasium.  Doors will open at 5:40. Students will meet in the small gym at 5:45. Admin, 5^th grade teachers, and Mrs. Caton, our music teacher, have a great ceremony planned to commemorate elementary school and celebrate everyone’s great success.
